Is digital your first language and are you looking for a step-up in your career? Accell Group offers a unique position as UX Designer for our brand-new to be developed e-commerce platform for our leading bike brands across Europa and the US.

 

The goal of our cutting-edge venture is to serve all bike enthusiasts around the world even better by providing 9 single-branded webshops, which are managed through one centralized e-commerce platform. Not only do we want to engage consumers with unique brand content and experiences, we also want to offer a full-fledged e-commerce environment with multiple omnichannel shopping journeys. To realize this, we are looking for top-notch e-commerce specialists to join forces and take a front row seat in the founding team.

Your challenge

You will be the central hub in the creative team and our ‘master of design’ putting all of your creativity to work to help us build this global e-commerce platform. Our ‘customer-first-thinker’ who, together with his expert teammates, is going to be known for the most convincing designs, a silky-smooth customer journey and strong conversion. You have an exceptional attention for quality and detail, never losing sight of the bigger perspective while you test and measure your success on user satisfaction. You of all people understand our customers’ needs and take the lead in designing the ultimate customer experience to drive our multi-brand awareness and business to the max across all countries!

 

Your focus

  • Align customer needs with business goals and design elegant user experiences by finding simple solutions to complex UX problems;
  • Use research, analysis, competitor info and industry trends to create innovative ideas and identities;
  • Design best-in-class, consistent on-brand experiences across the various Accell brands;
  • Conduct concept & usability testing and improve conversion by setting up A/B & multivariate tests;
  • Define interaction models and develop wireframes and prototypes following customer needs;
  • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers;
  • Transform learnings based on data into an intuitive customer experience.

 

 

What you bring to the table

  • A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or related field;
  • At least 4 - 5 years experience as a UX Designer in an international, agile e-commerce environment and A/B & multivariate testing skills;
  • Solid experience with Google Analytics and knowledge of Google Tag Management, InDesign, Illustrator, wireframe tooling and the latest web (analytics) developments;
  • Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills and the ability to explain complex data and solutions so everybody understands;
  • A strategic mindset, overseeing the bigger multi-brand picture, combined with a pragmatic approach;
  • Strong analytical skills & curiosity for data, the ability to connect data and come up with logical and focused output.
