What the role is about

As Lead Data Steward you will support us in driving our Master Data Management program to its full potential. You will become part of the Supply Chain Development team. This team report the CSCO, and also includes the Supply Chain Procurement team and the Supply Chain Planning team. In this job your key activities include:

  • Executes data matching, cleansing and integration activities for the roll out of our Global MDM Program.
  • Measures, monitors and drives data quality compliance through a.o. setting up data quality dashboards.
  • Prepare and initiate data readiness assessments at Accell Group OpCo’s.
  • Sets priorities of data elements requiring improvement in alignment with business priorities.
  • Define and implement group data standards.
  • Boarding price lists of our key suppliers into the MDM Platform and ensures follow up by the data owners.
  • Ensuring that data owners understand data and data quality impact on their processes.
  • Setting up and maintaining data definitions, business rules and documentation / dictionaries.
  • Setting up business cases for further investments in MDM.



What we ask for

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, as assigned. Below are the required skills for the successful candidate.


  • Minimum one bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant specialism (IT, Business Administratration, Economics, Supply Chain)
  • Knowledge of data quality management in a context of a transactional and analytical systems
  • Deep knowledge of data standardization / metadata management tools
  • Experience in business intelligence, analytics and reporting solutions, preferably SAP Business Intelligence, Qlikview and PowerBI.
  • Strong experience with data management systems, data modelling and tools, preferably SAP Data Services
  • Analytical ability to manage and review large amounts of data, without losing attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, eg SAP, Dynamics or custom and business process management, preferably BPMN 2.0
  • Excellent Dutch and English language skills, both written and verbal. Other languages such as German and French are bonus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Present data analyses in an insightful manner
